Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
A heated exchange has unfolded between the two key members of Bihar's ruling Grand Alliance, the JD-U and RJD, regarding a poster on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya displayed by RJD MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh. The poster, asserting that the temple signifies "the path to mental slavery" while a school represents "the path towards light," prompted strong opposition from JD-U, with BJP leaders joining in, claiming the poster aimed to provoke Hindu sentiments. The controversy comes as Singh, in the past, stirred debate with remarks on Goddess Saraswati.
The JD-U spokesman, Neeraj Kumar, asserted that those speaking against the Hindu religion should not seek support from individuals who practice Hindu rituals. The JD-U condemns any anti-religious sentiments and criticized the MLA's disparaging remarks. Meanwhile, RJD MP Manoj Jha defended the poster, highlighting its focus on Savitri Bhai Phule's observations on education. The verbal sparring reflects ongoing tensions within the Grand Alliance, with accusations of appeasement policies and concerns about sentiments of Hindus.
