Officials from the Gorakhpur-based publisher, Gita Press, announced on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted approval for the establishment of a Gita Press outlet on the premises of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. A delegation of 35 members from Gita Press met with the Prime Minister before the inaugural run of the Amrit Bharat Express train from the Ayodhya Dham railway station. The positive response from PM Modi was confirmed by Devi Dayal, a trustee of the Press, who mentioned that the meeting occurred in one of the train compartments. Another trustee, Ishwar Parsad Patwari, shared that the Prime Minister acknowledged the noble deeds of every trustee and worker associated with Gita Press, expressing his support for the initiative.
Upon their return to the Gorakhpur railway station, the delegation received a warm welcome from passengers, MP Ravi Kishan Shukla, MLA Mahendra Pal Singh, Mayor Manglesh Srivastav, and others. The announcement of the Gita Press outlet on the Ram Temple grounds marks a significant development in the cultural and literary landscape associated with Ayodhya.
