During his visit to the sacred temple town, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two Amrit Bharat and six Vande Bharat Express trains from the newly redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station on Saturday.
The Amrit Bharat trains, known for their state-of-the-art facilities, aim to enhance the convenience of rail passengers. Among the inaugurated trains are the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town to Bangalore Amrit Bharat Express.
Starting December 31, the Bangalore-bound Amrit Bharat Express will commence regular operations from Malda. Notably, these superfast passenger trains, equipped with the LHB push-pull feature, introduce the Amrit Bharat category. However, it's essential to mention that these trains feature non-air-conditioned coaches.
