Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
In a disturbing incident, suspected Maoists abducted three employees, including a manager named Shahbaz Khan, from a bridge construction site in Gaya on Sunday evening. Gaya Police reported that two of the abducted individuals were released on Monday, while the Maoists demanded a ransom of ₹30 lakh for the safe release of Shahbaz Khan.
The abduction has prompted a joint search operation, led by Gaya senior superintendent of police Ashish Bharti, involving district police, the state's special task force, and the CRPF's Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA).
The Maoist zonal squad, allegedly led by commander Vivek Yadav, is suspected to be behind the abduction. Vivek Yadav, also known as Rajendra Yadav alias Sunil, has a history of involvement in over 20 Maoist-related incidents in Bihar and Jharkhand.
The Maoists seized the three individuals, including the manager, from a project site of the Gaya-based Shail construction company, demanding ransom and releasing two employees on Monday. The ongoing operation aims to track down the Maoists and secure the safe release of the abducted manager.
