Chief Minister Hemant Soren stirred political ripples during the 'Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' event in Gola block, where he unveiled ambitious plans for the development of Dhanbad, including the construction of an airport with the cooperation of the Central Government. However, this announcement has ignited a political confrontation between the ruling party and the opposition.
During a meeting in Baliapur, CM Hemant Soren expressed his commitment to building a new airport in Dhanbad, if the Central Government provides the required land, which currently belongs to FCI. He remarked that the Central Government seems reluctant to part with the land, raising concerns about the feasibility of the project.
CM further takes a dig at BJP, responding to the 'visionless government' statement, saying, they themselves don't want to cooperate and have labelled the state government 'inefficient'. Recently, BJP state spokesperson Avinesh Kumar criticized the state government, terming it 'inefficient' and 'visionless' in its approach to development.
While the Congress, in power, takes a more optimistic stance, State Congress President Rajesh Thakur emphasized the need for collaboration between the state and central governments. Thakur acknowledged the influence of the Central Government's decisions on the realization of projects, urging them to consider issues like royalty. He highlighted the existing tension between the state and central governments, noting that collaborative efforts are crucial for successful implementation of various schemes.
