Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
In a strong expression of dissent against the Jharkhand government, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a protest rally, commencing from Shivlok complex and culminating in a demonstration in front of the Collectorate. Hundreds of BJP workers and officials participated in the procession, vehemently raising slogans against the government's alleged inefficacy.
BJP leader Sanjay Yadav, addressing the gathering during the protest, asserted that the current government is ineffective. He accused the Chief Minister of involvement in corruption and highlighted a surge in reported incidents of death in the Chief Minister's MLA constituency, with the government maintaining silence.
District President Vijayanand Pathak presided over the street meeting, addressing the failures of the Hemant government over the past four years and expressing grievances related to basic facilities, law and order, and public safety. The protest featured the presence of senior BJP leaders, including Shyamnarayan Dubey and District Vice President Arvind Gupta.
