Varun Dhawan encountered an unexpected setback during the shoot of Atlee's upcoming film, tentatively titled 'VD 18.'
The incident occurred when the actor accidentally banged his leg into an iron rod on set. Varun, who is collaborating with filmmaker Atlee for the first time, took to Instagram to share the news with fans along with a snapshot of his swollen leg.
The untitled film, slated for a 2024 release, marks another instance of the actor sustaining injuries during the production of 'VD 18.'He added, "All I can say is it's a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film which I love as well. And, I’m just going to give it my all."
This is not the first time that the actor has suffered an injury while shooting for the project. A few months ago in September, Varun had shared a video on his Instagram Stories and spoke about his injury.
