The AC coach caught fire just before the scheduled departure at one o'clock, causing chaos at the station. Passengers were hurriedly rescued by breaking windows, and the affected bogie was separated from the train before it could spread.
According to the information, the maintenance work of the train is done in Mumbai. Only water loading and cleaning is done in Jayanagar. Washing takes place in Mumbai. Information about whether electrical check was done or not is not available yet. The railway administration is investigating the reasons for the incident.
