Pakistan's national cricket team has disclosed their playing XI for the impending 1st Test against Australia, scheduled to commence on December 14th at Perth's Optus Stadium.
In a bid to strengthen their squad, Pakistan has introduced two debutants, Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad, in the playing eleven.
While Aamir Jamal, a 27-year-old all-rounder, has prior experience in 4 T20Is, including a debut against England last year, Khurram Shahzad, a right-arm medium bowler, is set to make his maiden appearance in Test cricket.
Jamal boasts a decent first-class record, amassing 76 wickets in 28 matches at an average of 32.57, while Shahzad, with 136 scalps in 45 fixtures at 29.24, brings a promising edge to the bowling lineup.
