13-year-old domestic help forced to strip, filmed nude in Gurugram's Sector 57

In a harrowing incident reported from the Sector 57 area, a 13-year-old domestic help was subjected to severe physical and emotional abuse by the family she worked for. The alleged atrocities include beatings, dog bites, forced nudity, and inappropriate touching. 

The victim's mother filed a complaint detailing disturbing abuse her daughter endured while working for a family in Sector 57 area of Gurugram. The lady of the house reportedly used an iron rod and a hammer to physically assault the girl, while her two sons allegedly forced her to strip, filmed her naked, and subjected her to inappropriate touching.

The young girl was allegedly held captive in a room, her mouth taped shut. The mother's complaint reveals that the girl was given food only once in 48 hours, and her employers resorted to pouring acid on her hands. The victim's mouth was taped to prevent her from seeking help, and the family threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the ordeal.

The Bihar native said she had got her daughter a job at the house of Shashi Sharma, a resident of Sector 57, with the help of a person who cleans vehicles in a nearby area on June 27.

The girl was offered a stay with them and Rs 9,000 in monthly salary, a sum the mother got for only the first two months. "I went to meet my daughter several times but was neither allowed to meet her nor talk to her on the phone," said the victim's mother.

Following the complaint, the accused family, identified as Shashi Sharma and her two sons, has been booked under various charges, including cruelty, causing hurt, outraging modesty, criminal intimidation, and specific sections of the POCSO Act and Juvenile Justice Act
