In preparation for the upcoming mass Gita recitation event at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata on December 24, hundreds of Sanatanis congregated at the Mahesh Jagannath Temple in Shrirampur, Hooghly district.
The collective recitation of the Gita took place from 11 am to 12.30 pm on Sunday and was organized by the Jagannath Temple Trust under the guidance of Maharaja Brahmachari Nirgunanand Saraswati of Risra Prem Mandir.
Notable personalities, including Shrimat Nirgunanand Brahmachari and other dignitaries, graced the event, urging participants to join the mass Gita recitation at the Brigade Ground.
Sharad Gautam, the associate and social worker of Risra Prem Mandir, provided insights into the organized program, emphasizing the enthusiasm among Sanatanis for the upcoming event, where one lakh people are expected to collectively recite the Gita at the Brigade Ground on December 24.
The involvement of Prime Minister Modi in the program further adds to the anticipation and excitement within monasteries and temples across West Bengal.
