Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, known for her strong political persona, took on a different role during her visit to Kurseong in North Bengal. On Thursday, she immersed herself in the life of a tea worker, plucking tea leaves in the picturesque tea gardens of Kurseong. This unique sight showcased Mamata Banerjee's love for the mountains, where she effortlessly blended into the serene surroundings.
In a break from her usual political demeanor, Mamata Banerjee wore the traditional white and red attire of tea workers. Engaging with the women of the tea garden, she learned the art of plucking tea leaves and spent time conversing with them.
Despite being in Kurseong for her nephew's wedding, Mamata Banerjee maintained her daily routine in the mountains, dancing on Pankhabari Road in the early morning before immersing herself in the activities of Makaibari tea garden.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's visit to Kurseong includes participation in a service delivery program for the GTA area at Monteviot Ground on Friday. Additionally, there are administrative programs scheduled in North Bengal during this period.
