In a tragic incident on Sunday morning, a collision between a dumper and a bike in Jabra area on National Highway-31 has left a young man, identified as Pavit Basak (23), seriously injured. Local residents, witnessing the accident, rushed the bleeding youth to Chanchal Super Specialty Hospital for immediate medical attention.
According to local sources, Pavit Basak was en route to the Tulsihata market on his bike for potato business venture when the collision occurred. The dumper, coming directly from Tulsihata, collided with the bike in Jabra area, causing severe injuries to Basak. Prompt action by the local people led to his rescue and subsequent admission to Chanchal Super Specialty Hospital. Harishchandrapur police station was notified, and an investigation into the accident is underway.
