In a disconcerting turn of events, the Gwaltoli area of Chunchura witnessed heightened tension as a round object wrapped in wire was discovered near the septic tank of Sumati Sana's residence this morning. The alarming find triggered fear among locals, leading to widespread concern and the immediate reporting of a potential bomb threat to the Chunchura police station.
This incident follows a series of unsettling discoveries in the region. Post the Panchayat elections, numerous similar twine-wrapped objects were found in an abandoned house in Chunchura's Anandmath area. Notably, a recent bomb was also located in the grounds of Naldanga Narayanpur Primary School in Kodalia, escalating concerns about security in the vicinity.
