Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed his belief that if the ODI World Cup 2023 final between India and Australia had taken place in Lucknow instead of Gujarat, Team India would have emerged victorious. Yadav stated that the change in venue would have garnered the blessings of Lord Vishnu and the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, potentially altering the outcome of the match. Despite India's impressive journey to the final, winning ten consecutive games, they faced defeat against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
