Mercury to drop 3 degrees in Bengal in next 2 days, says MeT
Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has strongly rebutted conspiracy theories surrounding India's impressive performance in the ICC World Cup 2023. In a scathing attack during a podcast with PUMA, Shami addressed rumors propagated by some Pakistani news channels, dismissing them as baseless. Shami, the highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 24 scalps, highlighted his impactful role in India's campaign, which culminated in their runners-up finish against Australia.
The controversy stemmed from former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza suggesting that Indian bowlers might be using different balls to gain an advantage. Shami, responding to these allegations, urged those propagating such theories to "sudhar jao" (improve themselves) and emphasized the significance of performing at the right time.
