In a recent development, Mumbai Police arrested a young man, Kamran Khan, on Tuesday for making threatening calls in the name of notorious underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim.
As per sources, Khan contacted the Mumbai Police control room and claimed to have received instructions from Dawood Ibrahim's henchman to carry out a bombing targeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
After which the police traced the caller and detained him from Chunabhatti area of Mumbai. Mumbai's Azad Maidan police have registered a case against the youth under section 505 (1) of the IPC and are investigating further in the matter.
