Her mother, Morjina, who worked tirelessly as a tailor to support her daughter's education, expresses concern that without proper resources, Alima's academic journey may face setbacks, emphasizing the challenges faced by individuals in acquiring essential study materials.

The Daluakhaki incident, which occurred after the tragic shooting of Trinamool leader Saifuddin Lashkar, led to widespread looting and arson, affecting around 20 to 25 houses in Jaynagar. Alima's return to her home reveals the harsh reality of her situation, surrounded by burnt books and dreams that seem unattainable in the current circumstances.
