Allu Arjun arrested days after woman died in Pushpa 2 premiere stampede
Canada's federal police are actively investigating online videos featuring Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the general counsel for the Khalistani outfit Sikhs for Justice, where he issues a warning not to fly Air India starting November 19. Transportation Minister Pablo Rodriguez stated that every threat concerning airlines is taken seriously, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is currently conducting the investigation into the videos that surfaced in the past week, intensifying security measures to address potential risks.
In the videos, Pannun cautions Sikhs against flying Air India after November 19, stating that their lives may be in danger. Pannun clarified to Canadian media that it was not a threat but a call to boycott Indian businesses. With Canada home to approximately 770,000 Sikhs, constituting about two percent of the population, the warning has raised concerns.
This development follows Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's previous allegations in September, suggesting Indian involvement in the murder of a Canadian Sikh leader near Vancouver. The unsolved murder and Canada's handling of Sikh separatists have strained relations between the two nations.
