SC halts mosque survey orders, restricts lower courts in pending cases
Dengue continues to pose a significant health threat in the state as another casualty was reported during the ongoing festive season. Neetu Singh, a 31-year-old housewife from the Gorabazar area in Howrah Municipal Corporation ward number 17, succumbed to dengue.
Her illness began with a fever on October 14, initially managed at home, but a subsequent blood test confirmed the presence of dengue. She was subsequently admitted to Howrah Hospital and later transferred to a private hospital, where she passed away during treatment.
Meanwhile, North Howrah MLA Gautam Chaudhary, who also contracted dengue, is currently under medical care in a private hospital in Howrah, experiencing fever for the past few days.
