BJP Member of Parliament representing the Medinipur Lok Sabha constituency, Dilip Ghosh, engaged in a tour of West Medinipur district along with party workers and supporters.
During his visit to the Bogda area in Kharagpur city, Ghosh joined in a tea discussion and interacted with the media, where he directed criticism towards the Trinamool party.
Ghosh expressed his disapproval of the Trinamool's Durga Puja arrangements, claiming that money was used to secure the festivities. He remarked on the absence of a pavilion, the non-arrival of the Durga idol, and the inauguration occurring during Pitru Paksha, leading to what he considered an unconventional and unfamiliar Durga Puja experience for the people of West Bengal.
