Delhi court on Tuesday extended the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh to October 13 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. Singh had initially been in ED custody until October 10.
Sanjay Singh was arrested by the ED following more than 10 hours of questioning related to a money laundering case associated with the Delhi liquor policy. He is the third AAP member to be arrested by the agency in over a year, with Manish Sisodia, the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, and Satyendar Jain also facing arrests in different cases.
