Army soldier Vimal Oraon, resident of Alipurduar, died in the natural disaster in Alipurduar, Sikkim. He was a resident of Madhu Tea Garden of Kalchini block. He was amongst one of the armymen whose vehciles were drown and they were missing in the floods in Sikkim.
His body is being brought to his residence on Munsi Line of Madhu Tea Garden on Friday. His body was recovered from Teesta river in Gajaldoba on Wednesday.
On Thursday his brother identified the body. After the, post-mortem at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, the body was paid last respects to Binnaguri Army Cantonment where he was posted. After this his body was sent home
