Cricket legendries all set to attend stone laying ceremony of International Cricket Stadium

On a historic day for cricket enthusiasts, legendary Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, and Dilip Vengsarkar will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the International Cricket Stadium. The event, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi presiding over the momentous occasion.

The construction of the International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi has been a collaborative effort between the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).

The government allocated a substantial Rs 121 crores for land acquisition, while the BCCI is set to invest Rs 330 crores in the construction of this state-of-the-art cricketing facility.

Ravi Shastri shared a post on his Instagram, expressing his excitement for the event.
