Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed strong disapproval of absconding real estate promoters who have allegedly duped individuals by promising them apartments and then vanished with their money. In response, she has urged the police to take swift action against these individuals.
Banerjee has also made aware of instances where real estate businessmen have faced harassment from various investigative agencies, reffering to ED and CBI raids. She says "even my family has suffered such harassment by the agencies, though I have not taken one cup of tea from anyone in my life, but that is fine since it is a political vandetta. I suggest you all if anything like this happens, do not panic, just lawyer up and it will be fine."
She asks CREDAI members present today at Dhano Dhanne auditorium to give proper facilities like- fire system, drinking water system, electric system and Green and Clean modules at properties as people invest their life savings in buying homes and as a good deed no one should be worried about their home.
