An employee of a non-governmental organization jumped from a tall building in Salt Lake, committing suicide.Chandan Mandal, the deceased, was a resident of Howrah district. His family has filed a case against three individuals.
According to the police, Chandan Mandal leaped from the 'Royal Bengal Room' hotel near City Center One in Salt Lake today. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors. It is alleged that the incident occurred during an event at the Royal Bengal Room hotel.
It is also reported that Chandan Mandal had sent a WhatsApp message to his wife before his death, saying, "Dear, forgive me and our little one for now." Currently, the police have initiated an investigation.
