JP Nadda, the President of BJP, concluded his two-day visit to Bengal by seeking blessings at Dakshineswar temple. He was in the state to attend the Eastern Panchayati Raj Parishad event. Nadda expressed his wishes for the nation's prosperity and prayed to Maa Kali for India to shine globally. Reflecting on the significance of the temple, he invoked the legacies of Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramahansa and emphasized the aim to build a stronger India under the Prime Minister's guidance.
Nadda's visit was marked by critical remarks towards the Trinamool government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Addressing concerns of violence during the panchayat polls, he confidently asserted that the BJP would soon form the state government, transitioning from the opposition role.
