Taaza TV and Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE), under the Ministry of Defence, are elated to announce the triumphant culmination of "KWIZDOM 2023," an exhilarating quiz contest that saw enthusiastic participation from 53,000 students across 112 schools in Kolkata and Howrah. This momentous event was held in commemoration of India's 75th Year of Independence as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

The quiz competition, which took place at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium on August 6, 2023, witnessed fervent quizzing by the brightest young minds. Six school teams made it to the finals, after an intense journey starting from 112 schools, narrowing down to 24 teams in the quarter-finals, and further to 12 teams in the semi-finals. Each team comprised of a preliminary test topper from classes 8, 9, and 10, fostering collaborative learning.

In addition to cash prizes, GRSE extends a unique opportunity to the Top 100 qualifiers - an invitation to the Mega Show of GRSE: The launch of an Advanced Guided Missile Frigate in August 2023.

The quarter-finals unfolded at the National Library Auditorium on August 5th, 2023, followed by the Semi-Finals and Final at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium on August 6th, 2023.
