Kolkata's real estate Merlin Group chairman summoned by ED for questioning on financial transactions

Sushil Mehta, the Chairman of Merlin Group, was summoned to the ED office in Salt Lake today for questioning concerning financial transactions associated with his company
ED's investigation has revealed a connection between these financial dealings and Sujoy Krishna Bhadra, also known as Kaku, from Kalighat (who is now in jail)
In a previous raid at Merlin Group's office, a mobile phone containing significant data was confiscated by the ED, data on this device will be examined in Sushil Mehta's presence during his interrogation

Kolkata's real estate Merlin Group chairman summoned by ED for questioning on financial transactions

Sushil Mehta, the Chairman of Merlin Group, today appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Salt Lake for questioning regarding the financial transactions involving his construction company. The ED's investigation has revealed connections between these financial dealings and Sujoy Krishna Bhadra, also known as Kaku, from Kalighat. Kaku was previously apprehended by the ED and is now in jail.

Sources indicate that the financial interactions of Merlin Group, a prominent construction company, were linked to Sujoy Krishna Bhadra. The ED had conducted a raid at the Merlin Group office last month and seized a mobile phone containing crucial data. The contents of the seized device are set to be examined in the presence of Sushil Mehta during the interrogation.

This questioning aims to uncover any potential irregularities or violations in these dealings.
