Allu Arjun arrested days after woman died in Pushpa 2 premiere stampede
In a recent social media post, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela sparked controversy by referring to Pawan Kalyan, the acclaimed southern megastar, as the 'Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.'
The 29-year-old actress shared a group picture featuring herself, Pawan Kalyan, and Sai Dharam Tej, taken during the promotional event for their highly anticipated film, Bro The Avatar.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Urvashi Rautela wrote, “Delighted to share screen space with Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh @PawanKalyan in our film #BroTheAvatar (camcorder emoji, popcorn emoji) releasing tomorrow 28th July across the world (Earth emoji) about the story of an arrogant person who, after death, gets a second chance to correct his mistakes. See you all (red heart emoji) @IamSaiDharamTej #BROFromJuly28th.”
The actress's erroneous reference quickly drew sharp criticism from netizens, who didn't hesitate to call her out as 'stupid' and 'uninformed.'
One user mocked, “(laughing emoji) CM of Andhra Pradesh (sic) ???? Being an actor doesn't mean you have to be so stupid... he himself was defeated in two seats at the same time as an MLA... Educate yourself a bit.”
Another user questioned, “When did @PawanKalyan become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh? Are you from another world (sic)? He is just an actor, and we call him #PackageStarPK in Andhra Pradesh."
The film, "Bro," directed by Samuthirakani, has generated much anticipation and features stellar performances from Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej, and Urvashi Rautela. Scheduled for release on July 28th, the movie's promotional activities have been overshadowed by the actress's unintentional blunder, sparking discussions and debates across social media platforms.
