After the united opposition front of 26 parties settled on the name "INDIA" for their alliance, they have now finalized "Jeetega Bharat" (India will win) as their tagline for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election, aiming to challenge the BJP.
The decision on the tagline came after extensive consultations late last night, with Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray suggesting a Hindi tagline for the opposition alliance. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the 2024 election will be a "Modi versus INDIA" battle, highlighting the ideological contest between the NDA and the newly formed alliance.
As the opposition strategized in Bengaluru, the BJP demonstrated its strength in Delhi with representatives from 39 parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a strong stance against the opposition front, criticizing alliances built on negativity and pointing to the NDA's commitment to the poor and backward classes.
With the tagline "Jeetega Bharat," the opposition aims to counter the BJP's "Bharat vs India" narrative, reflecting their commitment to the welfare of the nation and its people.
The name "INDIA" emerged after extensive brainstorming during the two-day conclave in Bengaluru, signifying the united front's focus on national development and inclusivity.
West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader, in announcing the name, confidently challenged the BJP, expressing their love for the motherland and dedication to farmers, Dalits, and the country, stating that "INDIA will win, our country will win, and BJP will lose."
