After Patna, a meeting of opposition parties is going to be held in Bengaluru. Ahead of this meeting, Congress President Sonia Gandhi will host a dinner for opposition party leaders in Bengaluru.
According to Trinamool Congress sources, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee is unlikely to attend the dinner, though she will attend the meeting in Bengaluru. According to information received, the party's national general secretary and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, and other senior party officials will attend the gala dinner.
According to information received, the second meeting to be held in Bengaluru after Patna will also be attended by Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee. Like last time, Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee will be with her this time too. Mamata Banerjee will leave for Bengaluru on July 17.
According to information received, CM Mamata Banerjee was not even going to attend the meeting in Bangalore, but when Congress President Sonia Gandhi called her, she again agreed. Recently, CM Mamata Banerjee sustained a leg injury in a helicopter landing and also underwent surgery.
An opposition meeting is proposed in Bengaluru on July 18. The first meeting of the opposition alliance was held in Patna in late June under the chairmanship of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Apart from RJD, and JDU, a total of 15 opposition parties including Congress, Trinamool Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, and Aam Aadmi Party will attended the meeting.
