The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) made history again today. Chandrayaan-3 blasted off into space at 2.35 pm today from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. India's third lunar mission "Chandrayaan-3" was launched.
This mission, prepared for 615 million crowns, will land near the South Pole of the Moon after a journey of about 50 days. The LVM-3 launcher was used to launch 'Chandrayaan-3'. It was previously known as GSLV MK-III. Space agency ISRO has earlier launched Chandrayaan-2 with this rocket.
Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh arrived at the Satish Dhawan Center in Sriharikota as the chief guest. Besides, former ISRO chief Radhakrishnan, K Sivan, and AS Kiran Kumar were also present at the launch of Chandrayaan 3.
