A truck bearing registration UP 42BT 7275 crashed in Dedhtangwa Valley on Lohardaga-Chandwa road under the Chandwa police station area late on Saturday night.
The truck driver died in the accident, the Conductor was injured. After the accident, the truck driver and the Conductor remained trapped in the wreckage of the truck for hours. The iron pipe was loaded in the truck. While coming from Lohardaga towards Chandwa, there was a truck accident in Dedhtangwa Valley. The seriously injured constable is being treated.
Regarding the incident, it was said that the Gupta bus staff passing through this road saw the truck accident late at night. He immediately informed the Chandwa police station.
After receiving the information, SHO Bablu Kumar reached the spot after securing the crane and gas cutter.
The driver and helper wedged in the cab of the truck were extricated from the wreckage of the truck. Police seized the body of the truck driver and sent it to Latehar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased has been identified as the father of Krishna Kumar Yadav-Sitaram Yadav, a resident of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. His family members were informed about the incident.
