The police got a major breakthrough in the murder of a couple in Bhawanath Colony located in Badi Jharna in OP Jirwabari area.
In Jirwabari OP, SDPO Rajendra Dubey said that Golu Yadav alias Vishnu Yadav alias Lalu Yadav and his friend Nitesh Yadav, son of the accused deceased, were arrested in the murder case of Sumit Yadav alias Pappu Yadav and wife Milli Singh.
Two smartphones were recovered from them. The SDPO said that the cause of the incident was a family dispute.
The Mirzachowki police also questioned both the accused in connection with the Pappu Yadav car theft case. Sumit Yadav alias Pappu Yadav and his wife Mili Singh may have been shot dead by miscreants at their house on the night of June 25.
He said that Sumit Yadav was married twice. He lived with his second wife Mili. That was why Golu, the son from his first marriage, killed him.
OP Jirwabari Chiranjit Prasad and Puani Satish Kumar Soni were present during the arrest of the accused.
