Thailand announces e-visa for Indians from Jan 1, 60-day exemption to continue
A two-week workshop on the 'Entrepreneurship Development Programme' organized by BIT Sindri Innovation and Incubation Center started on Thursday
Director BIT Sindri Dr. D.K. Singh, who inaugurated the program, said the initiative is part of BIT Sindri's commitment to excellence in FDP start-ups and incubation. He encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained during the program to improve classroom instruction and motivate students to pursue entrepreneurial careers.
The event (July 5-15) is sponsored by the BIT Sindri Alumni Association of North America (BITSANA).
On the occasion, Prof Prakash Kumar, Professor in charge of the Innovation and Incubation Cell, BIT Sindri, informed about the achievements and works of the Incubation Cell in recent years. He also highlighted the contribution of BIT Sindri to creating a start-up ecosystem in Jharkhand.
Entrepreneur Ramesh Yadav emphasized that start-ups create numerous opportunities and contribute to the economic development of the country. Another participant (Entrepreneur) Raj Jaswa also shared some case studies. Prof. Meenakshi Chowdhary from the Department of Humanities shed light on the importance of this FDP for students and participants alike.

(Dr.) Nishant Tikekar, IIT Bombay Entrepreneur, Dr. Amarnedu Prakash, President, SAIL, New Delhi, Dr. Shailendra Suman, Professor of Business at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA, Dr. Santosh Anshumali, IIT Bombay Entrepreneur etc.
Prof. Prakash Kumar, Professor in charge of the Innovation and Incubation Cell said that 'Faculty Development Program' (FDP) is organized under the supervision of Director Prof. DK Singha and coordination is managed by Dr. Om Prakash from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Murli Manohar from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Prof. Meenakshi Chowdhary of the Department of Humanities.
The FDP attracted the participation of faculty members from various universities, colleges, and institutes. Their joint efforts aim to create a strong ecosystem that supports start-ups, fosters sustainable economic growth, and creates job opportunities across the country.
