4 dead, over 30 injured as pilgrim bus overturns on way to temple
The Jharkhand High Court has sought custodial death reports from all district magistrates of the state.
A division bench headed by Justice Ananda Sen passed the order after hearing a PIL filed by Dhanbad resident Mumtaz Ansari in the matter.
The court asked all district judges about the number of pending applications for inquests into custodial deaths.
Seeking a report from the district judges, the High Court adjourned the hearing on the matter to July 26.
