The release date for the highly anticipated film "Animal," starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, has been postponed. Initially scheduled to hit theaters on August 11, the new release date is yet to be announced.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, "Animal" also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in prominent roles. The film's original release date clashed with Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2" and Akshay Kumar's "OMG 2."
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the update, stating that "Animal" would not be releasing on the Independence Day weekend as planned. He mentioned that the film's release has been postponed and assured that a new release date would be announced in the upcoming days.
In a pre-teaser released last month, glimpses of the film showcased intense action scenes with Ranbir Kapoor wielding an axe and fighting against a group of individuals wearing skull masks. The first look poster depicted Ranbir holding an axe with blood stains on his shoulder while lighting a cigarette.
Rashmika Mandanna, who stars alongside Ranbir in "Animal," recently shared her admiration for the actor on Instagram. She praised him for his brilliant acting skills and described him as an amazing human being.
Rashmika also expressed her excitement for the film's release, stating that people might not be prepared for Ranbir's performance but that they should anticipate something extraordinary.
