Violence erupts in Kolkata as Hindu Jagran Manch protest clashes with police; Officer injured
PFI, a banned organization in the country, is still active in some areas of Bihar and is trying to strengthen its organization. Central investigative agencies have received specific suggestions in this regard. Based on this input, the NIA has been conducting raids in Phulwari Sharif and Darbhanga in Bihar since Sunday morning.
In this raid, which takes place in all locations at the same time, the agency has many suspicious documents from different locations. According to agency sources, this raid is taking place in Phulwari Sharif and Darbhanga of Patna.
The NIA is said to have raided the hideouts of more than half a dozen suspects. Along with the NIA, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is also involved in this operation. According to sources, this action is being carried out at more than two places in the Behera police station area of Darbhanga.
As per inputs received from NIA sources, inputs have been collected for several days for action against this organization. On the other hand, when concrete suggestions were received, an action was initiated on Sunday morning in collaboration with ATS.
All locations were attacked simultaneously. Because of this, the suspects have no chance to recover. Please be informed that in May also NIA raided Katihar in Bihar. During this, the NIA team also found many pieces of evidence against PFI. After this operation, which lasted for three hours, raids were carried out in many other places in the country. In this sequence again NIA and ATS teams reached Bihar.
If NIA sources are to be believed, the team also arrested a youth during a raid at Chotki Bazar of Darbhanga. This young man studied while living in Patna but also actively worked for PFI. The youth caught is said to be the middleman. However, till now NIA has not given any official statement in this regard.
