Ahead of the Panchayat elections in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress MLA Madan Mitra has made explosive remarks.
He stated, "There will be the central force on one side, and we will be on the other side. The central force will influence the voting of Trinamool supporters. Will they shoot? How many shots will they fire? The bullets will run out." Immediately after that, he passionately exclaimed, "Without the military, nothing can be done to tackle West Bengal."
Today, he also targeted Governor C.V. Anand Bose over the Kamarkhati MLA. He said, "C.V. Anand Bose has already cut the ticket on the 11th. What else is there to do?". Even before the election, he claimed, "We are going to win, we are winning with a full majority."
On the same day, Madan made explosive allegations regarding the attack on Adi Yadavpur's Youth Trinamool leader, accusing those who have been charged with shooting at Youth Trinamool members of receiving a bribe of 10 million rupees. He stated that he had warned them seven days ago.
The Trinamool MLA alleged that some contractors were instigating a dispute over land against a few groups, and he has provided a secret report to the Police Commissioner with their names. Although initially referring to the Kamarkhati MLA, the bullets were fired amidst the ongoing dispute within Trinamool. However, within 24 hours, Madan made a complete turnaround. He stated, "There is no internal conflict, dispute, or political issue behind this chaos. It is entirely a fight over land."
In addition, he claimed that those who attacked them have been given a bribe to kill them. The Kamarkhati MLA stated, "Against those who have been charged with shooting, I warned them seven days ago. They have been given a bribe. One crore rupees. Personally, I have warned them. When they are on Tarapith Road, they will be killed. The person and the name who gave them the bribe."
