District task force cracks down on illegal mining seizes vehicles in Jharkhand's Ramgarh

District task force, conducts surprise inspection in Gola, Dulmi, Chitarpur, and Patratu blocks, resulting in the seizure of illegally transporting vehicles

Impounded vehicles involved in illegal mining will face further measures as authorities aim to curb the unlawful activities and ensure strict punishment for offenders

District task force cracks down on illegal mining seizes vehicles in Jharkhand's Ramgarh

A district level task force headed by Sub Divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain conducted a surprise inspection campaign in Gola, Dulmi, Chitarpur and Patratu blocks on Monday.

During the investigation campaign, two sand laden tractors under Gola block, one hywa and one gravel laden tractor under Chitarpur block, one sand tractor from Tokisud area under Patratu block and two two wheelers under Dulmi block were caught carrying coal illegally.

Further measures are taken after these vehicles are impounded.

In order to completely stop illegal mining in Ramgarh district and take strict action against the culprits and comply with the directions issued by the NGT regarding the ban on sand lifting from June 10 to October 15, DC Madhavi Mishra has directed the police to act in a planned manner.
