KERALA STORY MOVIE REVIEW
IndiaToday.in reviewed The Kerala Story by Vipul Shah. The review mentioned, "Kerala's story specifically pits one religion over the other and therein lies the problem with the film. Sure, it doesn't want to malign Islam as a whole, but it definitely tries to provoke Hindus and poke at the feelings that hurt the most. The film was irresponsible. "
The review further states, “Adah Sharma has the film on her shoulders but she is supported by several others. As Shalini, she uses a certain accent for her Hindi to portray that she is a Malayalam. But others like Pranay Pachauri and Sonia Balani steer clear. Adah stays true to her character but it's the over-dramatization that kills the film."
The Kerala Story hits the big screen on May 5, 2023.
