The state government got a jolt in the Calcutta High Court on Friday. Calcutta High Court judge Justice Amrita Sinha has ordered to restore the CBI investigation into the body recruitment scam.
Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay had ordered a CBI probe into the body's recruitment corruption probe, now it was seen on Friday that Justice Amrita Sinha's court also upheld the same order. Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has also got a blow from the Calcutta High Court on Friday in the teacher recruitment scam.
Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay gave a big order after the letter of Kuntal Ghosh, the accused arrested in the teacher recruitment scam. He ordered the CBI to interrogate Abhishek Banerjee face to face with Kuntal Ghosh. On Friday, Justice Amrita Sinha has upheld that order as well.
The court upheld the order of Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay, who had earlier directed the CBI probe into the corruption in the recruitment process.
