Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
A plastic factory in Howrah was destroyed after a fire broke out early this morning. The incident occurred at around 6:30 am in Naskar Para, causing panic in the densely populated area.
Local residents reported seeing black smoke coming out of the factory, which quickly spread due to the stock of combustible material.
Three fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene, and local residents also pitched in to help extinguish the fire by pouring water from the roofs of nearby houses. It took an hour of intense effort to bring the fire under control.
According to local sources, the cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is believed to have started in the middle of work inside the factory. Fortunately, all the workers were able to evacuate safely, but the entire factory was engulfed in flames and thick black smoke.
This is not the first such incident in the area, as a few months ago, a factory in Ghududi also got destroyed in a similar fire. Moreover, last night, a fire broke out in a closed plastic factory in Bagnan, Chanderpur due to short circuit, causing the plastic waste to catch fire.
In another incident, a massive fire broke out in Uttar Dinajpur's Itahara yesterday, destroying about 16 houses and injuring five children. The injured children were rushed to Raiganj Medical College for treatment. Two fire engines were deployed to tackle the blaze, which is believed to have started from the kitchen.
