Twenty-one people, including children, fell ill after eating 'khichri' served at 'Bhandara' here, officials said on Monday.
District Magistrate (DM) Rajkamal Yadav said the incident took place at Faijpur Ninana on Sunday evening.
21 people are being treated at the district hospital for food poisoning and their condition is stable, he said.
"Two paediatricians take care of the children. Both children and adults are safe,” the DM said.
He said an announcement was made in the village that if anyone felt unwell, they would be hospitalized.
