AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
A bus carrying passengers from Digha to Kolkata collided with an oil tanker on Sunday in Ramtarak area on National Highway 116, leaving around 27 people seriously injured. The incident caused a heavy traffic jam on the Digha-Mecheda road.
According to local sources, the government bus was en route from Digha to Kolkata when the accident occurred. The collision with the oil tanker caused most of the passengers on the bus to sustain injuries. The driver and crew of the oil tanker were also reportedly injured in the incident.
Rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Tamralipta Medical College for medical treatment. The police also arrived at the scene to control the situation and clear the traffic jam.
