Rain continues in West Bengal, temperature drops

The process of rain in other parts of the state including Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, continues for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been told that along with the capital Kolkata, it is raining intermittently in Howrah, Hooghly, North and South 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura including Jhargram, North and South Dinajpur. Is. Along with this, strong winds are blowing and lightning is also crackling in the sky.

Since Tuesday morning, continuous rains have started in Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Kalimpong in North Bengal. Strong winds are blowing here too. In the last 24 hours, 0.2 mm of rain has been recorded in the capital Kolkata, due to which there is a situation of water-logging in many places.

The minimum temperature settled at 21.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, while the maximum temperature settled at 26.8 degrees Celsius, eight notches below normal. In this way, the process of continuous rain will continue till Wednesday.
