Two bodies, including that of a woman, were found in a dam and a river below different police stations in the Ranchi district on Sunday.
The body of an unidentified woman aged around 30 years was found in Dhurwa dam under Nagri police station. Police said the body was found near the dam's swimming pool. The body was sent for an autopsy.
In the second incident, a yet-to-be-identified man, aged in his 30s, was found under the Salhan Bridge over the Swarnarekha River under the Angara Police Station area.
Police said they have been asking local people, but no one has been able to identify the body. They said the body, which has no external signs of injury, has been sent for post-mortem.
