AAP announces 1000 per month to women if voted back to power
Six people, including four young women, were arrested by the Bidhan Nagar North Police Station for allegedly committing fraud in the name of obtaining loans. The gang operated a fake call center from a rented house in the BD block of Salt Lake and targeted unsuspecting individuals who were in need of financial assistance.
Yesterday, the police received information that house number 422 in the BD block of Salt Lake was rented for seven or eight months and illegal activities were going on in it. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the house and arrested the six suspects.
During the interrogation, the police found that the gang would call people and offer them loans. Once the victim agreed to take the loan, the gang would ask for money for various processing fees and insurance. However, after taking the money, the gang would disappear, leaving the victim in a dire financial situation. Police are looking for the mastermind behind this.
