Speeding bus mows down pedestrian at MG Road more, driver flee
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday raided three locations in Kashmir, including the houses of Hurriyat leaders who are linked to the "sale" of MBBS seats in Pakistan to Kashmiri students, officials said.
The ED led raids on the houses of three Hurriyat leaders, including Qazi Yasir in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir Rescue Movement chairman Zaffar Bhat in Bagh-e-Mehtab area and Mohammad Iqbal Khwaja in Mattan area of Anantnag.
The Central Investigation Agency has launched a joint operation along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police. They conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of three Hurriyat leaders.
These raids are being conducted in connection with a case related to the "sale" of MBBS seats in Pakistan to Kashmiri students and use of the money to support and finance terrorism, they said.
